OUR VISIT TO VIRGINIA

Well, it has been a couple of weeks since our visit to Virginia. We drove for our trip in a rented Lincoln. It was a big roomey car so it was pretty comfortable. It took about 14 hours of driving time in both directions and we stopped once each way.
We had a great time. We stayed at Jean and Fritz's home. We left here on Thursday and arrived there on Friday. Eileen and Thom with Conner and Amy; Marge and Hank with Scott, Ryan and Lucas; Jo Ann and Augie with Mario and Nicole with Giselle and Mario Jr.; of course Mary with Ben and Christi; and Justin and Colin were all there some time during the weekend. It was great seeing everyone. On Friday night we were all at Jean's home. Saterday was Christi's graduation from Jame Madison University. She graduated with a degree, Cum Laude, in fine arts. She wants to persue a career in Architecture. We did not attend the ceremony. We all went to a party in Mary's home. We had a great time. Sunday, we just lazed around. On Monday we left Jean's and went to Eileen's. It is about an hour and a half away. The last part of the trip was down a winding road. They live in a very nice gated community of about 3,000 homes. There are several lakes and golf courses in the rolling hills of the community. We stayed there until Wendesday and then came home. It was great seeing everyone. We are going to have to start to plan a big reunion.
On the next Monday after we came home, I had a shot put in my hip. It seemed to help and I had a real spurt of energy. It isn't going to last very long.
Last weekend, we had Joey graduate from Clearwater Central High School. He will be attendinf South West Florida University in Fort Myres. The picture is of Mom and I with 6'5" tall Joey.
Next week we have the Confirmations of Eddie and Sean here at Our Lady of Lourdes. Mom will be Eddie's sponser and I will be Sean's sponser.
Justin wil be coming down to Tampa to stay with Matty for the summer. He has an interns position at Matt's company.
Congradulations to Ben on being a new home owner. He bought a condo in Virginia Beach.
