SUDOKU..Careful, it can be dangerous and addicting

Over the weekend I discovered SUDOKU. Many of you will already know of it (I think Kate once mentioned it) but this was my first time trying it. It is truly a facinating little puzzle. I have only tried the easy and the medium puzzles but believe me they are difficult enough. Saturday night, I barely slept because all the numbers were buzzing around in my head. Thats a switch from horses running around the track in my sleep. Yesterday I pulled up a site called pappocom and it gave me some hints for solving the puzzles.Today I pulled up a site and downloaded an easy and a medium one.
That site is.....websudoku.com

Try it, I hope you will like it.

LABOR DAY WEEKEND

We had quite a time this past week. W e had a lot of visitors and a great time. First to arrive on last Friday were Mary, Ben and Christi. They drove down from Lynchburg, Va. Mary looks great. She seemed happy and full of energy. Ben has graduated as a civil engeneer. He works in Norfolk, Va. He loves it because he lives and works right close to the beach where he loves to go surfing. Sometimes he even goes on his lunchhour!!! Christie is in her last year of college.
She will get a degree in architecture. She spent this summer in Europe. She is a classical example of beauty and brains. Next to arrive was Bren, Jana and Colleen (our newest grandchild). Bren looks and acts great. He is so interested in technology and computers and of course his new baby. He set up this blog and cleaned up my home page. Jana looks great. Being the only oncologist in Hays, Kansas sure seems to agree with her. She loves being a Mama. Colleen is a bundle of energy. She has made a quick transfer from China to Kansas. She is 19 months old. She runs to everyone and climbs on them. Next came Eileen, Thom and Connor. Eileen is expecting another child in March 2006. She is still a Lieutenant in the Coast Guard and expects to stay on active duty at least another year. Thom is working in Charlottesville, Va. He likes his new job designing a computerized navigation system for ships. The only trouble is that he and Eileen only see each other on weekends. Connor is a bundle of joy. He is 18 months. He always has the biggest smile on his face and a big twinkle in his eyes. He was a little shy but there were so many people around. Next came Mickey, Becky, Brian, Eric, Peter and James. They blew in like a hurricane. There is always something going on when they are here. Of coursy there was Joe, Lisa, Joey (all 6'5" of him.) and Eddie (who is going to be as tall as Joey); Dan. Dawn, Sean and Kevin; and Matt. All of whom live in the area. We were able to spread everyony around for sleeping. The biggest day was Sunday at Dan and Dawns. We had a barbaque. There were games of washers and volleyball game in the pool.
Mary had to leave on Monday. Mickey left on Tuesday. Bren left today. Eileen leave tomorrow.
All in all, it was a great week and we all enjoyed it.
