Update. Feb. 26th, 2006.

It has been pretty quiet here in Florida these last 2 weeks. I am still toiling away at HRB. Not that I am counting the time, but 7 weeks to go. It hasn't been as busy as it has in the past. I attribute that to 2 reasons. One is the area has changed and there are a lot more younger people who are computer savvy and are doing their own taxes. Even HRB has a computer program and a web site that competes with us. The second is that there is more competition. One of the problems with HRB is that they have forgotten the people who have gotten them where they stand.
Mom is doing well. She has been using her threadmill every day. With all the vitamins and the exercize she looks younger every day
Eileen is going to have her baby on Friday. She is about finished with the Coast Guard for now. Mary is coming to her house today to stay with Conner while Eileen is in the hospital. Remember thwm in your prayers.
Mickey will be arriving here on Tuesday. Becky and the boys will be going to her mothers home in Jackonville. Let us hope that Mickey finds a job soon and the family can get back together again soon.
Matt has moved into a new house in Tampa. He is doing well.
Joe and Lisa are doing well. Lisa likes her new job. Joe and Eddie are now certified to scuba dive down to 60 feet. Joey is still looking at schools.
Recieved a picture from Jean and Harry of Colin winning a 2 mile race. Way to go Colin!!!
Kate, Chad and the boys are doing well. I think they wish they have would have more snow.
Marge, Hank and the boys are doing well. Scott is now driving and has his own car.
Bren and Jana and Coleen are doing well. Jana is negotiating a new contract but in any case they will stay in Kansas.
I keep looking at the family pictures on our walls and thinking it would be nice to have a recent on of everyone. I would have to get a bigger wall!!

Update.Feb. 12, 2006

The first two weeks of working full time at HRB are over. It has been pretty busy although not as busy as it has been in the past. I hope it picks up a bit. I would like to do as many returns as I did last year. They have added about 10 new pages that you have to go through to finish each return so it takes longer to complete. We have also had some computer problems.
Eileen is getting closer to having her and Thoms baby. She is due on March 3rd. She then will be getting out of the Coast Guard. They will move to Charlotteville.
Matt has moved into a house in Tampa. It is fairly near where he was living. It is a house that has been fixed up.
Joe and Eddie have been going to classes to learn how to scuba dive. They will be having their certification dive soon. Lisa has a new job. She is Vice President of Marketing and Sales for a small High Tech Medical Company located in Tampa. The only down side is that she has to be in the office every day and she will be traveling some. Joey made the county All Star team in soccer.
Dawn has been working very hard. It seems like it is 6 days every week.
Mom and I have been doing well. Mom has been going to he dermatoligist who gave her some cream that she had a bad reaction to. It seems to be clearing up. We also have a new treadmill. I hope it gets used and doesn't become a place to hang your coat.
Thats all the news from Florida.
