Christmas and New Years are past and another year is beginning. We had a great Christmas and New Years. Jana, Bren, Coleen and Matty were here for Christmas. They arrived here on Christmas Eve and stayed for five days. It was great having small children around at Christmas. We had Christmas Eve here at our home. Dan and Dawn and the boys and Matt were here. Mom had her traditional stroganoff and it was great. On Christmas Day, we went to Dan and Dawns' home and had a big feast topped off with great desserts. Mom and I thank you all for your generous gifts. Joe and Lisa and the boys were in St. Louis for Christmas. Eileen, Thom, Conner and Amy came on the day after Christmas and we had another celebration. They left on the day after New Years. We also loved hearing from all of you.
We celebrated New years Eve at Joe and Lisas' home. We didn't make it until midnight. We started our countdown about 9:30 and we were all home and in bed by 11 o'clock. We did have a lot of fun while we lasted.
I recieved a thank you note from the local St. Vincent de Paul Society thanking us for our gift. We were able to give a gift of $800 due to your generosity.
I am starting my 18th year at HR Block next week. I am approaching it with anticipation and trepidation. We shall see where it brings us. If you have any tax questions or if you want me to do your taxes, let me know.
I hope someone is working on a reunion for this year. That would be great!!
