Christmas is fast approaching !!!!
Well Thanksgiving has come and gone and a good time was had by all. Down here in Florida we had a great day at Joe and Lisas house. Eddie and Joey were there, Dan and Dawn and Sean and Kevin were there, Matt and Bonnie was there, and Bren and Jana and Coleen and Matty flew in from Kansas. And of course Mom and I were there. We had a great dinner and enjoyed the afternoon with a lot of laughter and fun.
The northern contingent spent Thanksgiving at Margie and Hanks home in Virginia. Mickey, Becky and the boys were there, Kate, Chad and the boys were there, Jean, Fritz and the boys were there, Mary, Ben and Christie were there, Eileen, Thom and Conner and Amie were there. Many of the children are no longer children. The only small ones were Conner and Amie. Three (Ben, Christie and Justin) have already graduated from College. Three (Colin, Pat and Scott) are in Collge now. Two ( Ryan and Brian) start college next year. There were over 30 for dinner. They played the annual Turkey Bowl touch football game on the front lawn with over 20 players. On Friday they all went to Eileen and Thoms home for breakfast before heading on to their own homes.
Now we are all preparing for Christmas. I would like to continue doing what we did last year. Instead of buying me a present, I would like to continue with the Meehan Fund to St. Vincent de Paul. The need is greater than ever and we have all been blessed. THANK YOU.
Well John Mc Cain did not win the election. We have a new president in Barok Obama. I am hoping and praying that his policies will keep our country safe and that we will emerge from the recession soon. GOD bless America......
