HAPPY MOTHERS DAY

Happy Mothers Day to all. When I think of Mothers, the One that comes to mind immediatly is my Wife, Eileen. Not only for the number of children that she had but for her devotion to each of them individually. She shows love, devotion and understanding every day of her life. Every day her routine includes a visit to Our Lady of Lourdes Church where she prays for each of you and your families. (me too)
Her first words to me when she home are " Did anyone call." Now that is not to put a guilt trip on any of you because we know how busy you all are, We have been there ourselves. It is to show where her thoughts are.
You can see what a computer genius that I am. I saw that I had mispelled the word wommen in the last posting and I was going to correct it. I wound up erasing the whole posting.
California seems to be the place to go. Eileen and Chad were there last week and Jean, Fritz and family are going next week. They seemed to like it. Mom and I lived there 50 years ago and our memories are smog and traffic.
Thom had a knee operation last week and is now recovering. Little Amy is recovering from her fall. Young Joey was in the hospital for a day last week recovering from the flu. We hope Lisa, Joe and Eddie don't catch it.
I am not going to have a hip oeration. I went to the Doctor last week and he said that he would not be able to do the operation as the hip was in such bad condition.
He gave me the name of a specialist in Tampa who could do the operation. I am going to see him on June 15th. He also said that considering my age, other medical conditions, recovery period and the fact that I was getting around OK, he would not recommend having the operation done.
