DAY AFTER TURKEY!!!
Its the day after Thanksgiving Day..A time to reflect on how blessed we all have
been and to ask GOD to continue to watch over us. As I reflect on how much joy each of you (our children) has given Mom and I, I am overwhelmed with happiness and wonder at how greatly we have been blessed. We had a great dinner yesterday at Joe and Lisa's and it was great to speak with each of you and hear of the great time you were having.
One of our traditions is the getting ready for Christmas gift giving. We pulled the names out of a hat nd here is the list for Christmas giving.

Pre Thanksgiving Summery
Well, the big Thursday in November is approaching us quickly. The BIG dinner is going to be at Margie and Hanks new house. This should be a big housewarming. Matt has already left Tampa on his way. He is going to stop off at Timmy Meringer in North Carolina. Kate and Chad, Jean and Fritz, Eileen and Thom, Mary, and Matty and all their families will be spending their weekend at Margie and Hanks house. It should be quite an affair. They will test the construction of this new house. I hope the neighbors have ear plugs. Mom and I will have dinner at Joe and Lisa's. Dan and Dawn,Mickey and Becky and the boys will join us. It would sure be something if we all could get together again soon. Wow, what a party.
Mom went to the doctor again on Wednesday. He took out a few more stitches and said that the cut was healing but it hadn't healed completely as yet. We go back again on Wednesday to get the rest of the stitches taken out.
I am about halfway through my schools for HRB. It seem as if they get more seminars every year.
Here is a quote from St. Francis De Sales..............
" Do not worry about what might happen tomorrow. The same God, who cares for you today, will take care of you tomorrow and every day. He will shield you from suffering, or He will give you unfailing strength to bear it."
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!!!!!!!!!Drive safely!!!!!!!!!!!

MOM'S SURGERY
Yesterday we went to the dermatoligist so Mom could have a basil cell tumor removed from her back. It didn't seem to be very large to us. She had a 3 o'clock appointment. They finally took her into a back room about 4:30. She was back there for an hour and fifteen minutes. They removed the tumor and it took 37 stitches to close the cut they made. They just gave her a local anesthesia and she said it hurt very much. She now has a 8 inch bandage on her back and is taking antibiotic and pain killing pills. She has to limit her activities for a few days and has to go back to the doctor next Wednesday. She cannot take a shower until Saturday. She is feeling pretty good right now except for being tired from the medication.

The Holidays Are Coming!!
Well November is finally here. It has brought several things with it. One;Mom is already out shopping. She loves to be finished early. Now she will worry if everything will fit. I confess to being a last minute shopper. Two; The nice cool weather has arrived back in Florida. The high is about 80 and the low is about 60. If it could only stay this way all year long. But as they say, " You have to take the bitter with the better." Three; HR Block is starting to take up my time with seminars. They seem to add more every year.
The biggest news concerns Eileen. Last week she found out that she is expecting a girl in March. With all the boys, I am still not sure that they are right. I'll just have to wait until March to really find out. Eileen also found out that she is on the promotion list for Lt. Commander.
Nicole expects to have her baby, by section, this week. She is expecting a boy.
There is no big news from everyone else. Everyone is happy and taking care of their families. GOD bless you all.
I will leave you with an Irish Blessing;
Love, life and happiness.
May your troubles be few
and your blessings many.
